Glass Painting Supply Checklist
Pick the surface, the paint, and whether the piece will be washed or stored. You will get a packing list: cleaners, tape, brushes, paint, sealer, and cure notes. This is studio advice, not a brand test.
What This List Will Always Include
- Soap, then alcohol. Residue is the usual reason paint peels.
- A small brush and thin coats. A stiff brush leaves ridges on a curve.
- Sealer after a full cure if the piece will be washed, packed, or handled. Sealer does not make paint food-safe.
- Hand wash later. A dishwasher will strip craft paint even after a sealer.
